Well, it's been a while. In fact, it's been a year since I updated this website. I discovered Facebook. Need I say more?
I have to rave at least briefly about the Paperback Swap Book Club, which pal Betty turned me on to. I've been buying used books on Amazon for years now to reduce my consumption of new paper, and now with the Kindle am able to be even more conscientious. But books not available as an e-book I can now find on PBS - an online swap club just like it says. You post your books, and send them to those who want them. You request books, and people send you their copies. No money's exchanged, and you don't exchange with the same people - it's all very easy - terrific online user interface & functionality. You can even print labels with postage right from the site. Check 'em out!
